Extra-fine artist quality semi-hard square shape dry pastels for sketching and drawing like a soft pastel. Ultra-fine pigments ensure smooth and soft application with excellent and consistent colour release and tinting strength, hues and hades in application, texture and working qualities. Square shape convenient for both detailed and sketch work: Corners provide a sharp point while the side allows broad strokes. Use blade or craft knife to scrape pastel stick into powder, blend or create a gradient effect with fingers, a pastel brush, a piece of cloth or paper stump. Water soluble: Use with water for water colour effect. Good adhesion on practically every type of paper. Clean to use because less dust and minimum "finger-powdering"that stain hands or clothes with excellent washability. Break-resistant, less brittle, will not crumble. Good lightfastness. Ideal medium for outdoor sketching. Available in 150 brilliant, intense, pure and well balanced colours including pearlescent and fluorescent, neon colours.
